I’m Briana, a full-time explorer with a passion for spinning tales about my wild adventures!

Since graduating college in 2015, I’ve enjoyed working with and writing stories about big cats like lions and tigers, as well as other exotic wildlife species. I gained most of my experience working at a non-profit zoo in North Carolina and traveling to East Africa to study wildlife conservation.

No matter the season, you can find me frolicking in the woods or mountains, climbing, cross-country skiing, or simply carving my own path through the forest. I am an avid rock climber who enjoys teaching people of all ages how to move their bodies across rock walls (it’s harder than it looks!), whether in the climbing gym where I work or outside in the Appalachian playground of my home.
